I have been on a Mark Ronson Kick lately. Yes I am capitalizing it as if its a proper noun. Both listening to the archives of his show Authentic Shit on East Village Radio, which led me to this video which I am currently in love with and playing on heavy rotation. Its giving me ideas...... FASHION FILMS: Pro Keds

I'm digging the fashion films I'm seeing lately. Where fashion used to primarily utilize photography they are now moving into the short film genre to create aesthetic and identity and some of them are doing it with spunk and creativity like this short film for Pro Keds. Would love to work on a short like this for a fashion film:

RYAN MCGINLEY, TILDA & PRINGLE

I have been fascinated with Ryan McGinley's career for awhile now...how he went from downtown NYC kid-on-the-scene, to the youngest artist to ever get a solo show at the Whitney, to being chosen by the Olympic committee to shoot Olympic athletes for the New York Times Magazine, to being handpicked by Stella McCartney and now Pringle of Scotland to shoot both photo and short films for their campaigns. His work resonates with me, this piece he did for fashion house Pringle of Scotland with Tilda Swinton in particular:
